Seeing as how Super Bowl XLII is drawing near, it seems only appropriate that desktops across America (or the world if you are so inclined) be adorned by wallpapers of your favorite Super Bowl XLII contender. Personas for Firefox is a recent development from the labs at Mozilla. It’s an extension for Firefox 2 and above that allows easy, simple customization to the rapidly growing browser. Personas focuses on these principles:
- themes today are too hard to find, install and use
- graphic designers should be able to style the browser without having to code
- browsers can be more than just desktop software, they can include online components
- people just want their computer to be a little more fun and personal
